Start by preparing everything you need to go to the groom. First of all: a vaccination passport, without it there will be no communication with you. If you have a pedigree certificate, be sure to take it. Don't forget your litter box. Prepare her favorite food for at least three days. Conclude a contract with the owner in advance for mating sphinxes. At the same time, you will visit their home and see everything in place. Ask them to visit the exhibition with their pet (of course, if possible) and get the opinion of three experts that the cat is healthy, there is no reason not to trust him with future conception.
It is extremely important and mandatory to know: a naked cat cannot be mated with the same cat. Such mating can lead to offspring having health problems and even genetic abnormalities. It doesn’t matter here that the color is different and everything is different. It must be of a different type: for example, brush or velour.
You don’t need to wash your cat or cat, but trim its claws. Do deworming about ten days in advance. If your cat has a house or a bag, take it with you. She will be calmer with her. The female goes to the male, and not vice versa. Do not allow Sphynx cats to be mated if none of them have had sexual experience, especially the partner. Since mating with guaranteed success can only occur after several matings, do not be afraid to leave the kitty for more than three days. You can take it for a few hours and bring it back again, but hours, not days.
At what age should you start? You should definitely skip the first two heats. That is, it will be about one and a half years old. There is also no need to tighten it, it will not be good for your cat’s health.
The signs for visiting a cat are as follows: she becomes very affectionate, rubs against everything, puts her tail out, and when you stroke her back, she trembles all over, seems to be dancing with her legs, and constantly purrs. The cat will accurately determine her readiness for mating: he will immediately begin to act with a scream and noise, and if you arrive early, he may even leave.
The cat may be scared at first. Calm her down, caress her. She will quickly get used to it and make contact.
Rarely, but there are cases that a Sphynx cat will not make contact. In this case, she will have to change her partner.
