Exhibition tent for cats. Do it yourself

Exhibition tent for the Sphynx cat. Do it yourself
Those who have ever visited a cat show know what an interesting and spectacular event it is. But for cat owners, there are also the challenges associated with the show tent. Usually, the organizers provide an exhibition cage for participation in the exhibition. It is small in size, made of mesh with a large cell. But in such a cage, visitors to the exhibition, especially children, make the animal nervous with their desire to feel, stroke, put something into the cage. And the condition of the cat, as a contestant, affects the evaluation of her members of the jury. And the location of the exhibition participant sometimes attracts more attention than she herself. That's why the owner of the contestant needs to take care of the exhibition tent.

Such a tent can be bought, of course. But home-made can look cheaper and more attractive, in which it will be more convenient and pleasant for the cat to be, and the advantages of your pet will be better emphasized.

How to make an exhibition tent for a Sphynx cat?
Everything is pretty simple here. First you need to decide on the size. Usually the width of a standard tent is 60 cm. But it is still worth measuring the length of the cat from the nose to the coccyx, so that it is not crowded. The length and height are taken equal to the width.

Now it's worth thinking about the frame. It is preferable to make it from plastic pipes for plumbing, so that the frame is light - you will have to carry it a little. Which pipes to choose? Those who have already done this recommend pipes with a diameter of 20 mm. In total, you will need about 8 m of pipe with a cube size of 60x60x60, maybe a little more if you want to increase the width or height. You will also need corners, 8 pieces, to connect the structure.

The next step is plating. Raincoat fabric fits well here. This lightweight fabric does not stretch, it wipes well, if necessary, it can be washed, it is not afraid of moisture. A frame is cut and sewn from it. Its approximate consumption is 3 m with a roll width of 1.5 m. It is easy to calculate more accurately for the size of the tent.

Neatly sewn cover, which is important for the show, fits tightly on the frame. It is worth considering that a raincoat fabric cover is sewn without a back and front wall. The back wall is made of lightweight mesh, which can be sewn to the cover with a zipper to unfasten if necessary. It is better to close the front part with a film, for which it is also necessary to provide for the possibility of opening, for example, using Velcro or the same zipper, which is convenient for opening.

Decorate the exhibition tent
It all depends on the imagination. For example, ruffles sewn on the front side or attached bows will give a more attractive look to the tent. And you can decorate this kind of exhibition house with curtains on the back wall, covering the grid. And ahead, beautiful curtains with a short lambrequin will also give originality.
But in order to get the desired effect from such a tent and more audience sympathy, you need to choose the right color scheme for both the cover and the finishing details. Everything should be matched flawlessly, tastefully, in tone, in order to attract attention, and at the same time, to the beautiful cat sitting in the tent, as if in the window of a fabulous house. And of course, the chosen colors should somehow be combined with the color of your pet's coat - they should gently complement her beauty.
For the documents of the contestant, pockets sewn onto the cover will not interfere. They can also accommodate her cosmetic accessories. Well, for the cat itself, of course, you need to put a comfortable sunbed in the tent. It can be a small cute pillow, which you can also sew yourself for your charmer.

Made in this way, but always with love, the exhibition tent will serve you more than once and help both the owner and his pet to be always on top.
We wish creative success and victories to you and your charming and sweet pupil!
