Dry food

Dry food is surrounded by many myths that are invented by the media and various adherents of animal welfare funds. For example, many people say that dry food causes diabetes in cats. Or the fact that they live five years less. Also, many compare dry food with fast food. But is it? In fact, this is completely wrong. In fact, dry food is completely balanced. There is the correct ratio of proteins and carbohydrates. At the same time, carbohydrates are of plant origin. This is, for example, grain that is processed and compressed. In addition, this food develops the jaws of cats, which must constantly exercise. Plus, it's much cheaper than regular food and wet food. However, there are also disadvantages. Some cats simply cannot digest dry food. This is typical for very cheap dry food. This can also happen with cats that are abruptly transferred to dry food. This needs to be done gradually and it is best to feed the cats a combination food.

Liquid feed

Liquid food has virtually no carbohydrates. It's mostly fat and protein. But cats need fat. Without fat, six will become dry and tough. With the addition of fat they will become soft and fluffy. Protein will help the cat's digestion. It, like dietary fiber, forces the gastrointestinal tract to work in the correct mode. It is very nutritious and cats love it very much. It smells more attractive as it smells like meat or fish. However, this food is more expensive. Therefore, it is recommended to feed cats with a combination food. Mix or alternate wet and dry food.
