What are the symptoms of this disease? First of all: appetite disappears. Mobility leaves her, she becomes depressed, you will notice how she wanders aimlessly. At the second stage, on the contrary, there is a clear excitement, it becomes restless, and then aggressive. The next stage: convulsions occur, convulsions, breathing loses its rhythm (as if there is enough air). This may be followed by a coma. If it is possible to save the animal at this stage of the disease, then they can become blind, deaf, move poorly, and other serious consequences.

If we talk about the treatment of this terrible disease, then we will not talk about medicines: here everything is decided by the doctor and only. You can do the following: first of all, ensure peace, remove all irritants. The animal must be in a darkened room. Feed your favorite foods, more often, but little by little. The next serious disease of the nervous system in sphinxes: inflammation of the spinal cord. Medical name: myelitis. The reasons are the same: the consequences of the plague, some kind of spinal injury, maybe rabies.
The symptoms are also similar: increased sensitivity of the back (doctors say: hypertension), movements are disturbed, the gait becomes with obvious incoordination, then convulsions and everything ends with paralysis.

It is impossible not to name such an unpleasant disease as epilepsy. As a rule, this is a congenital disease and it is incurable. Although it may be coming: after childbirth, injuries, especially of the skull, are often a consequence of the plague. Accompanied by convulsive seizures, which end with the fact that breathing stops, the head is turned back, the legs are stretched, foam is plentiful. This lasts for several minutes, the animal gets up, continues to move.

Similar is such a serious disease as eclampsia. Frequent seizures that last from several hours to days. This happens more often in lactating cats, but it can also be before lambing, which is especially dangerous.
It seems that the cat is frightened of something, rushing about in fear. Then the order of movements is violated, he falls, tries to get up, but cannot. Convulsions come, again foam from the mouth. If you do not provide medical assistance, she may die. Treatment, care - only as directed by a doctor.

Like people, cats and especially cats often suffer from a deviation in the activity of the nervous system, and this disease is called: neurosis. The causes of the disease, unfortunately, are largely due to poor care and maintenance: nervous stress, castration disorders, caused frights, infections.
