Useful vitamins for animals

Vitamins for the body: what are the benefits

Everyone knows that healthy vitamins play a big role in the development and growth of our beloved pets, and not only that. These components are also important for other animals, since a lack of vitamins in a living organism leads to many negative consequences:
— weakening of the animal’s immunity;
- fragile bones and teeth;
- dull coat color;
- loss of appetite;
— weak activity;
— low level of productivity;
- the occurrence of serious diseases.
To avoid all this, you must always have vitamins for animals in stock, especially during periods of exacerbation of cold weather and infections.

Vitamins for animals: types

To better understand the choice of vitamins, you need to understand their classification.

According to the method of dissolution in the body:
- vitamins that dissolve in fats: vitamins A, K, E, D;
- water soluble: vitamin C and group B.
By release form:
— vitamins for animals in injections;
— vitamins in tablets, capsules.
Let's look at which vitamin is responsible for what. For example, vitamin D in an animal’s body is responsible for regulating mineral metabolism and strengthening bones. With its deficiency, rickets and osteoporosis can develop, and therefore it is so important to feed the animal with the same phosphorus and calcium from time to time.

Vitamin E, in turn, is responsible for the absorption of vitamin A in the body, as well as for full puberty. In its absence, male sex hormones do not mature to the required level, sperm become inactive, and in females this leads to pregnancy failure in the early stages. There can be terrible consequences for the animal’s body if there is a lack of vitamin K, and if there is a small amount of vitamin B1, the animal may stop growing. Folic acid and vitamin C are important for a living organism.
You should not focus on just one vitamin: it is best to give preference to the vitamin complex.

How to choose good vitamins for animals

But today you can only buy good, high-quality vitamins for animals in veterinary pharmacies or specialized pet stores. In addition, your priority should be vitamins from well-known brands that have branded packaging and instructions for use, a quality certificate and a license, and also specialize in the production of drugs for animals. If you are offered to buy vitamins by weight without manufacturer's packaging, avoid such purchases. Firstly: good vitamins will never be sold using this method. Secondly: without observing basic storage rules, vitamins could lose their beneficial properties.
